Constitutional Connection: Article III, Section 2
"The judicial Power shall extend to all Cases, in Law and Equity, arising under this Constitution, the Laws of the United States, and Treaties made, or which shall be made, under their Authority; to all Cases affecting Ambassadors, other public Ministers and Consuls; to all Cases of admiralty and maritime Jurisdiction; to Controversies to which the United States shall be a Party; to Controversies between two or more States; between a State and Citizens of another State; between Citizens of different States; between Citizens of the same State claiming Lands under Grants of different States, and between a State, or the Citizens thereof, and foreign States, Citizens or Subjects."
Explanation of Connection: This cartoon demonstrates Article III, Section 2 of the United States. The Supreme Court has power over the other courts. In other cases the Supreme Court has appellant jurisdiction. The trial of all crimes shall be by jury.
I think it is good that the Jury is a good way to charge a criminal. The Jury has to come up with a decision, either the prisoner is guilty or not. Sometimes you can pull the jury to have each individual tell what they think.

Explanation of Connection: This article is about how Obama is trying to get the troops out of war in 2010. He is going to end combat operations for majority of the troops august 31, 2010.
This article demonstrates Article II, Section 2 of the united constitution. The president is the commander in Chief of the Army and Navy and has the power. If he wants to take troops out of war, then he can.
I think this is a good idea. Obama can save many lives by taking majority of these troops out of war. Many troops are sons, daughters, moms, and dads and they need to be with their family.
